We are proud to honor Kevin Muldoon as our May 2025 Employee of the Month! Kevin brings a wealth of life experience, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude that make him an outstanding member of the StaffEx team.
Kevin was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and spent his early years in Vienna, WV before moving to Leominster, Massachusetts, where he graduated from Leominster High School in 1980. He began his higher education journey at the University of Charleston from 1980 to 1982 and found his calling in the culinary arts shortly after.
His cooking career started at Steak & Ale Restaurant in Charleston, WV and truly took off when he moved to Poughkeepsie, NY. There, he pursued formal training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, graduating in November Kevin’s culinary journey led him to spend most of his career in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, honing his craft and making a name for himself in the hospitality industry.
He later lived in Pensacola, Florida, where he worked for none other than Jimmy Buffett. Today, Kevin resides in Jacksonville, FL, continuing to bring his dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm to every opportunity.
Kevin is currently serving as a professional chef for the Salvation Army, where he continues to share his passion for cooking. His supervisor, Gilberto, says Kevin is a wonderful cook and a delight to work with—high praise that reflects the impact Kevin has on those around him.
At 62, Kevin is a shining example of lifelong passion and commitment. His diverse background and rich professional history bring unique value to our team, and we are grateful for his contributions.
